Aww, this is really cute. x3
I don't have a premium membership but I'm going to write some critique anyway! I hope you don't mind I really love the detail on this. The smallest details are really nice to look at, like the stripes on the bunny's vest and his fluffiness. I also really REALLY love the coloring on Alice's hair; it's really nice and textured looking, not flat and not super shiny (which I remember you got as a comment on a lot of your old pics, that you always had really shiny stuff XD) I also like the clouds because they're actually pretty believable, unlike in some pictures where the clouds look strange and out of place. And their expressions are SUPER adorable, which is a great plus. It also has a really nice scene feel to it, like it's not like they're posing for a picture. My only issue with this is the shading on Alice and the grass. Starting with Alice, the shading on her stockings are really dark, suggesting that there's something that's making her ankles shadowed. It's mostly the one on (our) left that's bugging me, because if the light source is from the upper left then the left should be a brighter, right? There are also a few places where the painting is sort of "clumpy", such as on the(our) left arm bicep and (our) left knee. Also, the skirt was drawn really well but I think you need some shading on her skirt to suggest folds and draping, since the shading looks sheetlike. The grass itself isn't too bad, but personally I think it looks a bit strange. It might have been a bit better to go with a cartoony paint of a hill, it just looks sort of strange with the rest of the painting-like looking. But that's just my opinion, and less of a critique. Overall I really like this though, it makes me think of a story book illustration and it's a great looking scene -- icon by *Popsiclette |
