Alright- Explanation:

I went though the different ways to use layers and how helpful the calculations are.

I used to be afraid of them because I didn't want to ruin the picture I was working on. However-- Calculations have proven themselves to be helpful and easy if you know what you're doing.

Hopefully I've helped a little--- I'll do more if you guys tell me what layer styles are confusing you (like Color/Hue/Saturation/Dodge and such)

Really quick reminder: When merging- The final result will have the calculation of the LOWER layer...

Edit: Pro-Tips: Different layering will make the picture turn out different. Lower Opacities may be better if you're making drastic changes. And... Ctrl+Shift+Alt+E gives you a copy of all of your viewable layers merged into one. :3
